Location: Topgolf in Bridgeville, PA
Friends and colleagues joined us early Friday morning for fun and competition at the second Swing from the Heart fundraiser held at Topgolf in Bridgeville, PA. Please continue down the page for photos of the event!
Teams of golfers competed in two games testing their accuracy and collecting the most points. After the competition was completed, prizes were handed out to the top two teams of each game. Charlie Wilcox, President of Vitalant’s Northeast Division, spoke about the local need for blood. And Mark Giaquinto, President and CFO of Blood Science Foundation, spoke about how and in what ways the foundation supports Vitalant.
Attendees participated in both a live and silent auction with fantastic items donated by generous companies and organizations in the region. They also enjoyed a healthy breakfast, served by the staff at Topgolf!
The goal was to raise awareness about Pittsburgh’s urgent need of more blood while also raising funds for Vitalant Pittsburgh’s High School Scholarship Program. This program provides scholarship funds to local high schools that host blood drives.
We would like to thank our sponsors and supporters at all levels:
Thank you again to the individuals, businesses and organizations that came together to support Swing from the Heart!
