Mt. Lebanon High School Blood Drive

Thanks to Mt. Lebanon High School for having our President/CEO Mark Giaquinto at their recent blood drive held on Jan 25^th. Mark had the chance to meet and speak with many young donors. Some, like senior Madison Bradley, were first time blood donors! Madison’s friend was getting a bone marrow transplant that same day and he asked her to donate for him. She was terrified but a real champ! Also, her EGGS teacher, Mr. Bregal, encouraged her to donate. He told her it was more important than anything they were going to learn that day.

Scholarships to local high school student blood donors are partially funded by a grant recently received from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
